Yavapai West Section Lodge Rooms are non-smoking standard motel-style rooms located in 1-story buildings separate from the main lodge. The buildings are located in a quiet area 1/4 mile from the rim of the Grand Canyon, walking distance from the rim and the main lodge building. These rooms feature 2 Queen beds, full bath, TV, telephone, ceiling fan. Sleeps up to 5 people, adults or children . Rollaway or Crib OK, but greatly limits maneuverability. There is NO AIR CONDITIONING. Pets and/or cooking are not allowed in the room. Rooms have exterior entrances.

The buildings are located in a quiet area 1/4 mile from the rim of the Grand Canyon, walking distance from the rim and the main lodge building. These rooms feature 2 Queen beds, full bath, TV, telephone, coffee maker, small refrigerator, air conditioning. Sleeps up to 5 people, adults or children . Rollaway or Crib OK. Pets and/or cooking are not allowed in the room. Rooms have interior hallway entrances.

358 rooms, Yavapai Lodge is Grand Canyon National Park Lodges' largest facility and is surrounded by pinyon and juniper woodlands, about 1/4 mile from the rim. With modern rooms and many services within a few steps, this is a convenient choice for families. Yavapai East rooms feature in-room air conditioning and Yavapai West rooms have vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans. The Lodge is located next to the Market Plaza, which includes a general store, bank, and U.S. Post Office. The National Park Service Visitor Center is within a short walk - approximately 1/2 mile. Yavapai Lodge features a cafeteria that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The curio shop has a wide range of gifts and a transportation / activities desk is located in the lobby. Most rooms offer two queen beds and there are a limited number of rooms with one king bed. All rooms have television, telephone, and full baths. There are also wheelchair-accessible rooms. Yavapai Lodge is normally open March through November and during winter holiday periods.
